No ones been before, it's the first one. Though if it's anything like the Bristol vegan fayre it should be very very good

Did you go to the Bristol one Risker?
Every year
If you haven't already done so, click the user control panel link and click on group memberships, then join the UK meet ups thread and you'll be able to find threads (incl. photo's) of all the past Bristol vegan fayres.

Who else is on the line up apart from Macca B?
and whats your band called Stu? have you got a Myspace?

3/4 vegan band. Damn bassist!
Well I'm listening to Stu's myspace now, and I think you'd make an excellent addition to the line up, but will 3/4 vegan cut it???
What's your band/show/ act horselesspaul???
and where did you leave your horse?
I think Guidosol should get in there, bubbles and all.
I am a virtual instrument designer, producer and bassist. I have done sessions with all sorts of "super exciting" types over the years including Paul Young, Brand X (without Phil Collins), Zodiac Mindwarp (a top 20 hit!), amongst others.
These days I produce sample libraries, mostly, including the recordings for Audio Impressions DVZ Strings.
I used to be a horsedrawn traveller known as Horsey Paul until someone stole my horse many years ago, hence the name.
..but what would they do with all the cows?..
Blimey. I hope the horse is OK.
I think they should ask Phantom Limb to play they are really good, not sure if they are vegans though???

Do you have to a vegan to play there?
Hey Paul
in your photo you look like a girl?
Wow, they got Clive Palmer from The Incredible String Band. I bet thats gonna be great
Hmph.
This is the first Brighton Vegan Fayre but run by the same people that organise the Bristol Vegan Fayre. If it's anything like that then it will be a great day out
There are two threads on the forum with details on and they can be found here:

Hope to see you there
I Think, Therefore I Am A Vegan
...hot off the press, King Blues and Soho Dolls provisionally booked for Brighton Vegan fayre...wow!
Their respective myspace pages display their calibre.
Two young n' funky bands that will jive the vibe!
Headliners will be announced soon.
It would be amazing if the King Blues played, I very much doubt it though.

I didn't know that any of them were vegan but they do still play house/ squat shows, so maybe they would be up for playing the fest.
Wow, they are playing! Fantastic.

Just bought me a ticket.

See you there Mr Risker.
Mark Lev is playing a solo set, good for him. He's a nice bloke.
..but what would they do with all the cows?..
I can't believe it! Been away for a bit, come back and find there's a Vegan Music fest in Brighton - come on!
The tickets for this event are available online at http://brighton.veganfayre.co.uk/
there is a special earlybird price so get yours early
i'm really looking forward to this. my friend's band are playing in the evening (not part of the festival) so i'm gonna make it a wekeend of it. yay!
Vegan Fayre Tickets are now on sale, get your earlybird reduction at http://brighton.veganfayre.co.uk
Really really really looking forward to this. Maybe I'll even manage to get one of my meathead brothers to come along with a musical line up like this and learn something new!
Hurry up and order your early bird tickets - after the 16th they'll be £8.
got em. oh yeah...
the myspace page now has the brighton vegan fayre poster which is ALIVE!!! cant wait for the king blues set
http://www.myspace.com/veganbristol
That is a pretty loud poster Frank, I like it!
I haven't been about much recently so haven't heard much chit chat about the Fayre. Really lookin forward to it, does anyone have any idea how it's being received in Brighton?
It's a big ol' venue and it would be wicked if it gets filled
I had so much fun! There were so many amazing things that I wanted to buy, but managed to restrict myself to a Secret Society of Vegans hoodie, some bags of sweets and white chocolate buttons. I definitely ate £8 worth of samples!!
Was so impressed with the Sheese stand; I never knew how delicious the cream cheese was! Especially on digestives with jam
The Cowley Club was closed at breakfast time because they were all at the fayre, giving out free chocolate brownies...nice.
..but what would they do with all the cows?..
i wish i had gone but i was too ill stayed at home eatign sorbet and tofutti instead. ahhh maybe i will get over to the brostol fayre instead.
glad everyone else had fun1
I really liked these too! ...though the look on my boyf's face (he's vegetarian and not the world's biggest fan of sheese) was hilarious- if there weren't so many people around he would have squealed "Ewwwwwww!". Haha.
I went to a couple of talks- Vegan Soc. and Viva, and I was sad to see there weren't that many people in there. Though I guess what they had to say wasn't anything all that new to long-time vegans.
I got a SSOV tshirt too Plus some of the Mexican cream sheeze and some hemp oil. Had a vegan trifle and a chocolate muffin. Had lunch at the veggie place in Sydney Street. Nice day out. Though with lunch, the parking and buying mothers day presents, it was an expensive day out!
Bah! I only learned about this event yesterday
What if a monkey made you a sandwich?
It was a good do, loads of great stalls and we had a good chat with various local organisations. Sadly neither of us could stay for the evening dinner as we already had a long term commitment for that evening but at least we met the lovely Gorilla and Zero on our way round. Don't know where Frank, Jamie etc were hiding, we didn't see them - probably dahn the pub
Many thanks to Ruby Rose also for sending us tickets or we wouldn't have been able to go
Silent but deadly :p
Really glad you could use them - hopefully see you there next year!
