Buy a Laptop Lunch Box like me! It arrives the next day and fits an amazing amount of food into it. I'm still stuffed now from eating at 12!

but they're so expensive! My loan comes through in a couple of weeks though....
^ approx £15 including delivery...what's that? a few drinks, a bag of chips & a rental DVD ?
considering i've got less than £40 of my overdraft left....
and anyway they looked like £20. Oh, yeah the basic ones are £13
My first bento! Nothing fancy, but the set is so cute, and I impressed all my friends at uni today.
Two sandwiches with Tofutti H&C, lettuce and carrot sticks, hummous, buckwheat sprouts in the smallest container.
The set in the bag:
Lovely!
Thanks Emma - the rice tasted lovely. I reheated it in our work microwave.
Astrid your bento is so cute! What were the sprouts like?
I agree - the outlay for a Laptop Lunchbox might seem a little high at first, but I've saved so much money by taking my bentos every day. It's already paid for itself plus some.
i've bought two of the laptop lunchboxes - pink for me, blue for him!
husband likes eating leftovery type potatoes, etc, i think they might come in handy.
I'd like to try them sometime Astrid.
Yay cobweb! Looking forward to seeing your creations
i revise my previous statement. the new bento box is more the size of a tin of beans.
have swopped back with anna who now gets the blue one and am considering a pink laptop box. this is all getting silly.

I love hello kitty. everything I have is hello kitty...its kinda disgusting really...
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
@aurore: I've got the same, but the plastic is bright blue
Astrid, I have that same box, only in red. I think the most hilarious part of those boxes is that the company who makes them is called "Lube Sheep"
(ew...
not vegan.)
hahahahaha
(wants to make more dirty remarks but fears this belongs in the 18+ section)
I like Hello Kitty stuff as long as it's not pink. Mayo cups don't count
haha you have NO idea Roxy!! My first job was at a Sanrio Store selling Hello Kitty products...I have so much crap! I have this awesome toaster that puts her face on the toast, my boyfriend made me a custom HK beach cruiser bycycle and had an artist paint on it...oh I should take a picture and post it, its very awesome. and now as we speak I am using a HK mouse and mouse pad....I have issues...haha!! Please continue to buy more Hello Kitty stuff so I don't look so much like a HK junkie!!
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
missbettie... is you boyfriend the guy running Hello Kitty Hell?
ha..reading about hello kitty 'shoulder massagers'......
ahronli sed ah dunit so thid tek thuh cheyus graytuh offa mi nihbles
ha!!! NO!! that site is scarier than I am! OK I feel better!

Or the AK-47...
why don't we rename this thread "pavotrouge-created-a-monster-thread" ?!
@ pavotrouge: probably the friendliest and most appetising monster created
Tomorrow. Clockwise from top left:
[1] Sosmix and pecan nut roll, satay potato cakes.
[2] Mixed bean salad with gherkin and pickled yellow chilli pepper.
[3] Carrot sticks, sugarsnap peas.
[4] Baby leaf salad [underneath], cucumber, radish, chilli marinated olives, spring onion, carrot bears.
you know...I really love sugar snap peas...they are really good...How do you cut the little bears? I know its a cookie cutter type thing but do you slice the carrot really thin? Those must be big carrots cause the bears are pretty wide...the little bears confuse me...my brain hurts...
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
@ missbettie
It's a small cutter, about an inch or so in height. I cut the carrot at it's widest part near the top, and then cut it into a few slices so I get thinnish bears.
oooo little skinny bears...and then CHOMP no more...cute!
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
Thats okay my roomies always turn the toast facing each other so they couldn't see her face...meanies!! I get a lot of gripes for my HK addiction...might be because I have a Tarina Tarintino HK necklace that cost an obscene amount of monies...but it was a gift I promise you!!
I think I shall take a picture of my toast and post it...and if we keep going of track in this thread I am going to create a hello kitty thread of my own! *sigh* so cute...
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
tomorrow: split pea soup, carrot sticks, hummus, dried apricots, squash pickles, tangerine
(a very orange and yellow lunch, odd for me. the soup looks gross because it was defrosted from frozen...)

I provide carrots and cupcakes, and a less than perfect sofa.
Well that's that offer out of the window...
