    Smile Hi from Eliana

This is Eliana and I'm from Italy. Obviously I'm vegan. For the animals not for my health.

    Ciao

    Ciao,

    una italiana!
È difficile essere vegetaliana in Italia? Perché l'anno prossimo studierò a Bologna. Potrebbe puoi darmi i consigli prima che io ci andrò.

Ciao.

    Ciao,

Welcome to the board, i've spoken to a few Italians about being vegan over there, not easy i hear, yet....

Eliana, first time i've come across that name, a good one, unlike Silvio when followed by Berlusconi.

Let's cover this question with a veil. It's a shame to have such a Prime Minister. I hope he won't take over everything. Major TV stations are on his hands, he makes laws for his good and so on...
If he'll be re-elected, if it were for me, Italy will be closed to a revolution.
Under the name of Democracy he's a dictator.
What do they say about him abroad? That he is a cretin? Actually under the aspect of a cretin he is very smart for the things he's interested in. Like saving his ass.

Hello, Eliana. Welcome to the forum.

    Buona Pasqua!

    A presto

    Ciao Eliana,

Applepie, I see that you, too, are a multi-linguist. I am well known here for the number of languages that I speak fluently. Es war nicht mein Fehler. Schöne Ferien! Sehr gut, danke. Beschreibe Deine Schuluniform. Geben Sie mir bitte acht Apfelsinen. Evakuieren Sie bitte das Gebäude.

We could talk in German or French or any of the 191 languages that I speak fluently but, for the sake of the others - who are not as fluent as you and I - we had better stick to English.

    Hello,
When I think of Silvio burlusconi, I imagine him dressed up in caesars dresses. He acts like a roman dictator and He'd look good in a dress.
Actually now he changed a little bit: he had some hair added right on the center of his head Caesar was bold, but for the rest...
I can't imagine what will he be able to do if he's going to be re-elected.
    I start getting ready

Guten abend liebe Tierfreundin! Italy not yet vegan heaven? I just spent a year in Beijing which, apart from a very few Buddhist-run restaurants, sure makes England paradise! I am thinking of a quick get away to Italy before Christmas with partner and 4 year old daughter. We have taken her over since she was a baby (la Piccolina). Where for you is vegan heaven in Italy? North South?

A real vegan heaven is diffucult to find but I think that North you would have more choices. If you let me know what kind of trip you have in mind, where you think of going I can provide you with some addresses.

Good to hear being vegan is going well for you in Italy, i hear Reggio Emilia is a good place, with plenty of interesting things happening and a few animal related laws.

    I've just checked.

The IVU has some addresses. They're vegetarian though. You may go here:

    http://www.ivu.org/italian/

and then in the first page you do your search. First you check for Europe and then Italy.
(Here I've found some indications: http://www.ivu.org/results/result.php?page=1)

Or you can register to this site: http://www.veganhome.it/

Once you're in you look on your right and you click on: Ricerca Locali. They're listed by region.

    Have fun
