Great news! I think I'll be investing in these!
I can't see the prices anywhere though?
I logged on specifically to post about this. It's delicious and it makes me feel good to see 'big business' giving vegans the nod. :D
Thank you!
Anyone remember a BBC article about potatoes being the reason our brains developed as early humans, as opposed to meat? I can't find the article but could sure use it! Any help would be great. :D
I'm not sure if anyne has recommended this yet but if now, get this book:

It's vegetarian, but we all know how to work around...
I don't know about points 2 and 3 but if I were you I would take some fruit and veg [carrot sticks and hummus or such] with me for break times etc, and fruit/veg juices to sip whilst in class.
Keep looking for those Chorizo pieces, they are amazing. :D
I'd also like to add I'm now looking for a vegan or even vegetarian housemate in Belfast, if anyone knows anyone looking!

My fasting blog ^ :D
I'd be happy enough with that, but if you're concerned, email the company.
Good idea on the hempseed oil! Yeah my biggest challenge will be juicing whilst I work. I live 15 minutes away so I could either go home every lunch and juice [which I probably will] or get lots of...
Sorry it took me so long, I sort of forgot!
My list so far is as follows:
Tonic: warm water, lemon juice, ginger and garlic
Cabbage water
Vegetable juice
Fruit juice [in moderation]
Herbs...
Lots of concern! Don't worry everyone, If I feel it's not working for me, or it's making me ill, I will stop - there's no point in putting myself through it for bad reasons!
I've done quite a bit...
I'm about to embark upon a 40 day juice fast [health allowing] starting Tues 12th and ending on Easter.
From tomorrow I'm cutting out sugar, processed food and processed food, and eating less in...
It's really nice in curry. :D Apart from that, it's horrible!
For sore throats I boil the kettle, and make a tea of golden syrup and lemon. Coats your throat nicely.
Juice from about a minute ago:
1 cucumber
3 celery stalks
handful spinach
small wedge of cabbage
Tasted HORRIBLE! I almost threw up, cabbage doesn't sit well with me! :D
Juiced spinach - yum! Okay, it's not great, but it's not vomit inducing as I first thought!
Belfast - very slow to catch onto the vegan bandwagon, or the health wagon come to think of it. Not...
Lemon juice is meant to be good if you want to preserve the juice for a while before drinking - I don't think I'd put it in for taste though, I would imagine it'd be really bitter!
I've either...
Yeah go for it! If you have ginger put some of that in too. I just put a load of everything in and if it tastes bad I'll add a bit of fruit for taste. :P
Nice work on the bargain!
Is smoking raw?! :P

this is the best link I think, it's a community of folk doing it, lots of tips, but not much of a 'how to start'. I guess someone could ask!
More info...
I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll post better links Piticli - I have a couple bookmarked that tell you how you can wash your hair with Apple Cider Vinegar and the sort you'd find in your...
Not washing your hair doesn't necessarily mean not washing it. :P
I don't know a great deal about it myself, and it's so difficult to find information online, but this link gives you some info:...
Not washing your hair isn't as bad as you think it is! Just depends I guess. :D

This is the juicer I got! Only £10 at the moment, and it works just lovely! Bargain. We ended up getting the blender as...
today:
1 kiwi
1 mandarin orange
6 or so grapes
handful of spinach
handful lettuce
half cucumber
1 carrot
bit of ginger
Hey Moochbabe, try this one: http://vegetarian.about.com/od/desertrecipes/r/veganfudge.htm
Or this looks better: http://www.veganfamily.co.uk/fudge.htm
So I went out and bought both a blender and a juicer - juicer for vegetables and I figure I should have a blender anyway.
I tried juicing [for 2 people] spinach, a carrot, half a cucumber, an...
I had chilli tonight too! Although we decided to cook a chilli-risotto, which I thought would be too odd, but was actually really filling. :D
I found the thing I'd read, it's from 'You Are What You Eat' and it just says:
Once a week at least, make yourself a green juice. Green juices, made from a variety of green vegetables, have a...
Hmm but I think I read somewhere that it's better to not have all the fibre in it, as that's the part of vegetables that are harder to digest [or something, all the info is too much!]... Does that...
I thought here might be the best place to ask!
I'm really wanting to try this juicing - but what do I buy? A blender, smoothie maker, juicer, other? Are they all the same?! They all look the...
Why don't you give them a call and ask them?
Thanks for the information - I might actually get over to the mainland and attend this!
Believe me, I'll be going back there to let them know just how they made me feel. It's just highlighted itself to me now that it's not just an ethical decision anymore, it's now a health problem...
Thanks to both of you. :) The most annoying part is that I was meant to be going to a gig tonight and will miss it now!
I just find it hard to believe that the small amount could be...
Hey - I'm almost sure there's a thread on this somewhere, but I don't know what to search for!
Anyway, at lunch today I had my usual from a cafe - soup with crusty bread. However today they...
Yeah don't worry about throwing your non-vegan stuff away without using them. When I went vegan I threw it all out, but if I were to do it again I wouldn't have. It's such a waste otherwise!
I think that, if from now on Jamilia buys no more animal products she can use up her old ones and still call herself a vegan. However I think her question was more along the lines of can she call...
