What did you expect from Bombay Aloo - it's all you can eat for a fiver! I think it's great value for money. Nothing award-winning, just simple Indian food, great for when you're in a rush.
I...
We ate at Anatolia Cuisine a couple of weeks ago and it was incredible! It's on St. James St: http://www.anatoliacuisinebrighton.com/
I've got a couple of photos on my blog of our meal:...
I absolutely love jackfruit! Can't believe I've only just started cooking with it.

Bit of a gross picture, but tasted great! BBQ pulled 'pork' with red cabbage coleslaw, stuffed into a roll with sweet...
Geez Louise that looks good!!
It is like fancy bombay mix! We use it as a base and then add fresh cucumber, pomegranate, tamarind - super yum!

I can't find the exact recipe, but I baked a banana loaf which was vegan and sugar free - I used sundried bananas (not crunchy chips - these: http://bit.ly/18cNCCk) and dates. Really tasty!
A couple of years ago my boyfriend got a really nice suit from Zara - all vegan, and pretty reasonably priced.
Firestorm - everything looks SO GOOD!
Here are a few things I've been eating lately:
(Jus-Rol croissants, a reuben with a side of Popchips, and a platter of food at a pub on Devil's Dyke!)

My boyfriend ordered the same and said it was incredible! It certainly smelt good! Stuffed with coleslaw, too. Really want to to go and try it! They also had an interesting looking salad bar, which I...
Haha, yes! Twirly pasta!
I don't have a problem with eating from a mixed buffet - but generally this just means lettuce...cucumber...tomato...raw onion...*yawn*.
I know that Rebecca's Cakes delivers to Enfield so you could treat yourself to some vegan cupcakes!

Thanks guys - now I'm desperate for a curry! (and a cold pint...)
I went for a roast at The George last weekend, and although the food did seem to taste quite nice, and well thought out - it was the saltiest meal I have eaten in my entire life. Inedible. Clearly...
I always go to Frankie & Bennys for beans on toast and hash browns! I think they may have an Eat who usually have something vegan.
Oh gosh, smoked tofu is the best! Taifin make my favourite - thinly sliced into a sandwich, chunks tossed in a salad, fried up like bacon - so good!
I really don't see how VBites fit in with the quality of food that there is to offer on East Street. Unless they have a major re-vamp of their menu. And quality of customer service. And actually cook...
We had some lurking in the fridge so I decided to use them up - my boyfriend nearly didn't let me, he didn't think it was allowed!!
Ooh the soup sounds really nice!
Breakfast: Cinnamon & Raisin Bagel spread with Vitalite
Lunch: Toasted sandwich with sliced orange pepper, sauerkraut, gherkin and mayonnaise, with a bag of roasted chickpeas

Snack: Handful of almonds

You know what - one of my favourite cookery books is Jamie's 30 minute meals - the recipes are really simple, taste awesome and you can always replace the meat with faux meat if you feel like it, or...
Glad you're enjoying it so far! I personally keep faux-meat to a minimum - I like soya mince to make spag bol, and Redwood chicken pieces and duck pieces for certain dishes - but generally I like to...
It was definitely scary!! Especially when we saw horizontal fireworks being let off, and others very close to us. We kind of got used to it as the weekend went on - I suppose it's just how we're...
Ooh, thankyou for the link! I remember those faux prawns, they're so funny!
I'm not sure where to get the same meat replacement products that they use, but I really like Redwood's mock duck - which you can find in Holland & Barrett and other healthfood stores. Otherwise...
Breakfast: Dorset Cereal's coconut flakes with fresh strawberries and peanut butter, and a coffee with hazelnut milk
Lunch: Toasted sandwich with garlic mayo, garlic sausage, red onion and vegan...

I've only been for a Sunday Roast before (which was fantastic!!) but would love to try their mid-week menu. I did go in with the intention of eating a few weeks ago, but their kitchen closes at 3pm...

Moroccan feast!
I had a burger at The George a couple of weeks ago - it was really good! As Jase1976 said, the portions are great. The chef brought out our food but wasn't much help - I went with a friend who...
I spent New Years in Hamburg, and although a lot of places were shut for the holidays we ate in some great cafes/pubs/restaurants!
I've written a little blog here, including photographs - we ate...
Yeah it's a Redwood's Cheatin' Turkey Roast, really good!
I had a mince pie from the Pasty shop opposite Infinity Foods shop at the weekend - it's the best mince pie I've ever eaten!! So much flavour, and packed full of lots of different dried fruit and...
I'm going to FFF in a week or so for a Christmas dinner party - we chose there only because Terre a Terre is unfortunately still out of action. I was impressed that there were more vegan options than...
